A New Age Of Marketing

Whether we like it or not, we are in a new age of marketing. Marketing is no longer a one-way street where the marketer and the slick copywriter rule. It is now a two-way street - a conversation, if you will, between the marketer and the potential customer/business partner - and the consumer rules.
Hype will not work anymore. People want realistic solutions and they are more likely than ever to seek out recognized experts to provide those solutions.
The marketer's primary responsibility in this new age of marketing is to establish himself as an expert with the knowledge to help solve problems. The VIP program is one very powerful tool for doing just that.
Put yourself in the potential customer/business partner's shoes. To whom are you most likely to turn if you have a problem in need of a solution? The person who is a recognized expert with the knowledge and commitment to provide that solution or someone who may, or may not, - and remember, the potential customer/business partner has no way of knowing - treat this business as a hobby?
I don't know if we all realize what a "cutting-edge" marketing/business building concept the VIP program really is.
We are fortunate to have someone with Dave's knowledge and foresight at the helm of this ship.
I hadn't used the VIP designation in my signature prior to this but after reading Dave's remarks, I will now proudly do so.
